I was always involved in playing sports growing up. I loved being on a team with friends and challenging our physical abilities through competition, so its no surprise that I fell in love with CrossFit! I love getting to be part of a community of like-minded people, all striving to better themselves through fitness and health. As the nutrition coach at Burg, I get the privilege of helping our members improve their relationship with food, reach their health goals, and, most importantly, educate them on how to create a well-balanced lifestyle. We have all heard the quote, “you can’t out-train a bad diet”, well….. it’s true! I teach members that your gym time is 1 hour out of your day, but what you do those other 23 hours is even more crucial if you have goals to reach!

I LOVE waking up every morning knowing that I GET to help others become the best version of themselves through our gym!

I also love working with kids and teaching them the fundamentals of fitness! I can’t even imagine where Id be if there were CrossFit classes when I was their age! It’s so fun getting to see their light bulbs go off when they finally grasp the movement and achieve something that they thought was impossible! These kids keep me on my toes as well and always inspire me to be a better person, athlete, and coach. These kids are our future and I am grateful to have the opportunity to train them up strong!
